We will be looking at a large number of Cria and especially what traits they are exhibiting at an early age to decide if we repeat the mating again or change to another male to see if we can get an improvement.

The time frame is very short to decide whether we like the result of the last mating.

• We will look at the traits each Stud Male passes onto his offspring.
• Look at the female of the Cria and see if the improvement is good enough and what we expected.
• Look at some fleeces to see how much improvement we are making.
• Evaluate two new Stud males from Australia.

The plan is to have a look at the animals and their Cria at 9.30 am until 12.00 – have a lunch break and then have a discussion on all things Alpaca and ABANZ after lunch.

We will also look at our ABANZ fleece project as we will have enough now to make some product.
